Fall Travel season follows the summer season and runs from August to September. This is a great opportunity for new and current players to grow and develop their fastpitch skills. Players will move to the age level that they will play during the next summer (i.e. an 8U summer player could move up to 10U fall based on her birth year).
The goal of the program is to allow for as much participation as possible. We intend to build teams that are appropriately sized (11-13 players) to allow for skill development while maintaining a competitive level of play. If there are not a sufficient number of players, specifically pitchers and catchers, a team may not be formed and player cuts might be necessary. For the fall season, players who successfully completed the ACGFA summer season and are registered on time will have priority in team placement.
Teams have one to two practices per week starting in August, play double header games on either Saturday (8/10U) or Sunday (12-18U) from mid-August through September, and complete the season with a State Tournament at the end of September.
Cost: 10-18U: $160, 8U $60 (includes Fall Ball shirt, practices, league fees and state tournament)
Required Equipment: Glove, bat, softball pants (preferably red), batting helmet with mask.
Registration: July 6 through August 1st
